Afridi has advise for players after horrific defeat against New Zealand

Karachi: Former Pakistan captain and all-rounder Shahid Afridi shared his advise for the Test players after a disastrous defeat against New Zealand.

The 40-year-old labeled the results as ‘very poor’ and expressed disappointment on the team’s performance in the second Test after a good fight in the first Test at Mount Maunganui.

“Congratulations to NZ for becoming #1 Test team, great performance by Kane Williamson and team. Really disappointing to see the performance in 2nd Test after a good fight in 1st Test,” Afridi tweeted.

“The players need to apply talent and courage to survive in Test cricket. The results in NZ are very poor,” he added.

It must be noted here that Pakistan lost two-matches Test series 2-0 after losing the second Test by an inning and 176 runs.
