‘Pakistan got Rizwan, Faheem from NZ tour’ Jalaluddin

Karachi: Former Test cricketer Jalaluddin believes that Pakistan have got a complete wicket-keeper batsman in Mohammad Rizwan and solid Test all-rounder in Faheem Ashraf form New Zealand tour. 

Speaking in a video message from the United States of America (USA), Jalaluddin praised Rizwan and Faheem for their performances and said it was a positive sign for Pakistan moving ahead.

“It wasn’t a very good tour for Pakistan as we lost both T20I and Test series. But, in the end there was some outcome for Pakistan in the form of Rizwan as a pure wicket-keeper batsman and Faheem as a Test all-rounder,” he said.

Former cricketer suggested Pakistan cricket team to rethink and focus on next series. “In this COVID-19 situation, I would suggest Pakistan to comeback, rethink and start again,” he added.

Pakistan lost Test series 2-0 and T20I series 2-1 against New Zealand at their backyard. The green shirts will return to country on January 10 where they will get prepare for upcoming home series against South Africa after some rest.
