Karachi: Mohammad Amir corrected Mohammad Hafeez who said he doesn’t want to represent Pakistan during a Tv interview.
Taking to Twitter, Amir replied to Hafeez’s statement in which he said “It is his personal decision and it should be respected. If someone doesn’t want to represent Pakistan so it’s okay.”
“You are wrong brother, I never said I don’t want to represent Pakistan. I said I can’t play for Pakistan with this management. You are doing good for Pakistan right now, so enjoy that,” he hits back.

It must be noted here that Amir parted ways with international cricket after citing mental pressure given to him by head coach Misbah-ul-Haq and bowling coach Waqar Younis. “I can’t tolerate it anymore. They are continuously giving me mental pressure and now I can’t play further cricket under this management,” he was quoted saying.
The left-arm pacer also informed Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s Chief Executive Wasim Khan about his decision. PCB, in their statement, confirmed that Amir had shown unavailability for future tours.
