Storm star's monster truck stunt will frighten coach

Craig Bellamy, if you're reading this… look away now.

The Melbourne coach might need a lie down after watching his superstar hooker, Harry Grant, jump a monster truck over a car.

Channel Nine was there to film the stunt and reveal Grant is eyeing off the Monster Truck Freestyle Challenge next month.

"It's really exciting," Grant told Nine.

"A bit of adrenalin, I was a bit nervous at the start but it's a lot of fun out there.

"They're not actually too hard to drive… I'm sure it would be a great show."

2021 Team Reviews: The Storm's 'red-hot' season

Grant's sojourn driving monster trucks is a deserved break from rugby league after a busy season in which he battled for Melbourne's No.9 jersey with Brandon Smith, before the Storm were bundled out of the premiership race in a loss to Penrith.

Grant, 23, is regarded as one of the best young hookers in the game and has already represented Queensland in State of Origin.
