Dubai: Shaheen Shah Afridi grabbed so far his career-best T20I ranking in recently updated International Cricket Council (ICC)’s rankings for the shorter format.
Afridi gained 16th position in Men’s T20I Bowling Rankings which was released after Pakistan vs New Zealand, three-matches T20I series. The young bowler bagged just four wickets in three matches and conceded runs at an economy of 9 P/O.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Hafeez gained 18th position after scoring second highest 140 runs in the recently concluded T20I series. Faheem Ashraf also improved his rankings with a decent performance in T20Is against New Zealand. The right-arm pacer bagged 13th position on the rankings table.
It must be noted here that Pakistan lost the T20I series 2-1 against the Black Caps. They will now play two Tests against the hosts.
