Kashif, Raza wraps up much-needed win for Balochistan

Karachi: Kashif Bhatti and Raza ul Hasan bagged 16 wickets altogether to help Balochistan outclass Northern by an inning and five runs in Ninth Round of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. 

After taking a 169-runs lead in the first inning, Balochistan bowled out Northern for 164 runs. Bhatti and Raza, both bagged four wickets each and successfully handed Balochistan their second win in the tournament.

Sarmad Bhatti scored the highest 31 runs for Northern.

Earlier, Balochistan posted 372-10 in reply to Northern’s 203-10. Akbar-ur-Rehman scored the highest 82 runs while Imran Farhat made 77 runs. Ayaz Tasawar made 69 runs with the help of nine boundaries and two sixes.

Nauman Ali bagged six wickets to remain on top of the highest wicket-takers’ list while Waqas Ahmed took three scalps.

Kashif Bhatti (5-75) and Raza (3-67) helped Balochistan bowl out Northern for 203 in the first inning.
