Karachi likely to host PSL 6 player draft in second week of December

Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is considering to host Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 6’s player draft in Karachi in the second week of December, ARY News Reported. 

According to the sources, PCB wants Karachi to host its first-ever PSL player draft as earlier Lahore, Islamabad, and Dubai conducted this process during the last five seasons.

Moreover, the cricket board is planning to hold the draft in outdoor space here at National Stadium following the rapid spread of COVID-19. Conducting the draft process online is also an option under consideration.

It must be noted here that PSL 6 is scheduled to take place in February, March next year. Meanwhile, PCB will continue monitoring the situation amid Coronavirus. The final decision regarding the event will be taken with the mutual understanding of all stakeholders.
