New details in 'shirtless' Elliott toilet tryst

An employee needed a key to open a toilet cubicle door for security to remove a shirtless Adam Elliott from a Gold Coast restaurant in front of patrons, according to a report by the Sydney Morning Herald.

Sources familiar with the situation told the publication, Elliott was shirtless when he left the White Rhino restaurant after being caught in the men's bathroom with childhood friend Millie Boyle.

It's alleged the NRLW player followed Elliott into the toilets before 11pm when the pair then locked themselves in a cubicle. Moments later an employee of the establishment knocked on the door, but didn't get a response.

A key was then needed to open the cubicle door, before a shirtless Elliot was grabbed by the arm by security and escorted out of the restaurant. He was then taken out of the restaurant onto Cavill Avenue while still not fully dressed, much to the surprise of diners.

Bulldogs general manager Phil Gould said on his Six Tackles with Gus podcast that he couldn't guarantee Elliott would still be at the club after the latest incident. He's been stood down from the club's last two games.

The NRL fined Elliott $10,000 on Thursday for "bringing the game into disrepute and failing to comply with biosecurity protocols", while Boyle was given a warning.

Elliot was previously embroiled in the club's Mad Monday scandal in 2018, as well as "making out" with a former teammate's fiance in February.

Elliott has two years left on his lucrative deal with Canterbury after rebuffing a big-money offer from the Warriors last year to stay at Belmore.
