WAPDA crowned champions of 2020 National Challenge Cup

Lahore: Larosh Khalid’s decisive goal led WAPDA to defeat SSGC in the final of the 2020 National Challenge Cup here at Punjab Stadium.

Larosh netted the goal in the 75th minute for WAPDA in the thrilling match where both sides attacked each other’s goal post in regular intervals.

Earlier in the match for the third position, Pakistan Army defeated Karachi Port Trust (KPT). Qadeer Hussain scored the lone goal for Army in the 6th minute of the match.

It must be noted that 28 teams participated in this event organized by the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF). 58 matches were played from November 30 to December 20.
