
Karachi: Afghanistan’s T20 captain Rashid Khan prayed for peace as the Taliban entered the country’s capital Kabul on Sunday.
The 22-year-old took to Twitter and tweeted “Peace” with praying hands and the Afghanistan flag.

Earlier on Tuesday, the star leg-spinner Rashid Khan had requested the ‘World Leaders’ to not leave his countrymen in ‘chaos’.
“Dear World Leaders! My country is in chaos,thousand of innocent people, including children & women, get martyred everyday, houses & properties being destructed.Thousand families displaced. Don’t leave us in chaos. Stop killing Afghans & destroying Afghaniatan. We want peace,” Rashid had tweeted.

According to media reports, the Taliban were on the brink of total victory in Afghanistan on Sunday, with their fighters ordered to wait on the outskirts of the capital and the government conceding it was preparing for a “transfer of power”.
