Aleem Dar joins umpires panel for Kashmir Premier League

MUZAFFARABAD: International Cricket Council (ICC)’s Elite panelist umpire, Aleem Dar has joined the umpires panel for Kashmir Premier League (KPL), set to kick off here today. 

He will be joined by Ahsan Raza, Asif Yaqub, Rashid Riaz, and Shozab Raza, also of ICC’s panel. Faisal Afridi, Ghaffar Kazimi, and Imtiaz Iqbal will join the umpiring team from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s elite panel whereas, Ahmad Shahab, Majid Hussain and Mohammad Sajid from the supplementary panel are also part of the tournament’s umpiring squad.

ICC’s elite match referees Ali Naqvi and Mohammad Javed have joined the KPL’s officiating team alongside Iftikhar Ahmad and Ahmar Saeed of PCB.

In the first game tomorrow, Asif Yaqub and Ahsan Raza will be the on-field umpires followed by Rashid Riaz and Ahmad Shahab as third and fourth umpires, respectively. Ali Naqvi will be the match referee.
