LAHORE: Sports Board Punjab (SBP) has decided to telecast Arshad Nadeem’s final in the Javelin Throw event of Tokyo Olympics 2020 on the big screen.
According to the details, SBP is looking forward to honoring the athlete for his achievement in the Olympic Games 2020. The large screen will be installed at Sports Gymnasium Hall to live telecast Arshad’s final on August 7 at 4 pm (PST).
It must be noted here that Arshad became the first-ever Pakistani athlete to qualify for the final of any event in the Olympics. The Javelin Thrower finished third on the table with a throw of 85.16m. This was overall the third-best throw in the contest after India’s Neeraj Chopra (86.65m) and Germany’s Johannes Vetter (85.64m).
