KARACHI: Nobel Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai believes that girls can compete in every sport without any gender hesitation.
In an interview from the sidelines of The Hundred Women’s Competition, Malala advised girls to believe in themselves and get into the sport of their choice.
“When we see female cricketers playing in this stadium, they are sending a message to all girls out there that they can play any sport. And, nobody should tell them that their gender doesn’t allow them to be in sport,” she said.
"I want to tell all girls, try it, and if you enjoy it, go for it. We are there to support you."
