Veteran supercoach Craig Bellamy will be Melbourne's head coach for at least one more season after reportedly agreeing to a new multi-year deal with the Storm.
Both Bellamy and the Storm are expected to make a joint announcement on Tuesday, confirming the news.
The development brings to an end months of speculation around the 61-year-old's future after fielding offers from the Broncos and the Sharks.
The multi-year deal will see Bellamy notch his 20th year as the club's head coach. Following the milestone, it is understood Bellamy will step aside in 2022 to take on a role as director of football.
The Daily Telegraph reports Bellamy's new contract will rake him in around $1.2 million as head coach but will drop to around $750,000 if he chooses to step into a mentoring role in the remaining years of the deal.
It is understood the new arrangement is set to be ratified with a four-year contract in a massive boost for the club.
