KPK beat SP to lead points table in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy

Karachi: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) beat Southern Punjab (SP) to gain top position on the points table in the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. 

Sajid Khan bagged seven wickets for KPK in the match to lay down a solid foundation for his team. KPK enforced the follow-on after bowling out SP for 290 runs in reply to 487-10.

Sajid bagged five wickets while Khalid Usman took three wickets for KPK. Aamir Yamin was the highest run-scorer from SP with 93 runs off 80 balls while Salman Ali Agha made 45 runs.

In their second chance, SP managed to give just 4-runs target to KPK after being bowled out for 200. Mohammad Umair scored the highest 77 runs from SP.

Musaddiq Ahmed scored match-winning 6 runs for KPK.
