Indigenous boxer brings out culture-inspired entrance

Australian Paul Fleming may have had his return to the ring ruled a no contest due to a cut above his forehead, but his Indigenous themed entrance was a highlight for fans at Bankwest Stadium.

Flemming, who made his return to boxing after two years away from the sport, had his bout with Bruno Tarimo ruled a no contest at the end of the third round as a result of an accidental head clash.

The bout between the two was effectively judged as a technical draw with the doctor forced to end the fight due to the nasty cut on Fleming's forehead.

However, Fleming gave fans something to remember when he entered the ring with a traditional welcome as part of an Indigenous-inspired walk-out.

"How good is this," said Main Event's Ben Damon during the coverage.

"As you can see, a very proud Indigenous fighter."
