NBA cops angry accusations after finals drama

NBA fans were left breathing a sigh of relief after an astonishing play from Giannis Antetokounmpo made up for an egregious no-call on Devin Booker which would have seen him fouled out of the game, as the Bucks tied the NBA finals against Phoenix 2-2.

Bucks star Khris Middleton scored 40 points, including 10 straight down the stretch to send Milwaukee past the Suns 109-103 and tie the series.

Middleton's hot hand and a big block from Antetokounmpo – which proved a momentum-swinging dagger late in the game – gave the Bucks their second straight victory in what was the first close game of the series.

Giannis' huge block negates a crucial no-call on Devin Booker as the Bucks tied the finals series.

But it was almost not to be when Booker, who had caught fire, was spared a foul call that would have had him kicked out of the game when he wrapped up Jrue Holiday on a fast-break layup.

The NBA world was left in disbelief, as many rushed to Twitter to vent their frustration with repeated inconsistency issues plaguing the league this series.

Booker would finish the night with 42 points for the Suns, but his foul trouble cost them a chance to build a big lead in the second half.

Antetokounmpo finished with 26 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists. His streak of 40-point games ended at two but the only number that matters for the Bucks is on the series scoreboard.
