Powerhouse Storm front-rower Nelson Asofa-Solomona will miss Sunday's clash with the Warriors after tonight being found guilty at the NRL judiciary.
The New Zealand Test international was handed a one-game suspension for contrary conduct against Titans back-rower Joe Vuna, as Melbourne held on for a 20-14 win over the Gold Coast at Sunshine Coast Stadium.
Asofa-Solomona attempted to reduce his one-game suspension to zero matches but couldn't beat the case of NRL prosecutor Peter McGrath.
McGrath said Asofa-Solomona had made "unnecessary", "avoidable" and "deliberate" contact with Vuna's head in the 52nd-minute incident.
He also deemed that the 25-year-old had knelt "on that player's head as part of getting to his feet" in a "squashing motion".
