Young Eagle Harley Reid's likely Rising Star win could be in serious jeopardy, after he slung St Kilda's Darcy Wilson to the turf during their 14-point loss at Optus Stadium on Saturday.
Reid grabbed Wilson's jumper and slung him to the ground in the third term, with the young Saint looking in pain after the incident.
The sling cost Reid a free kick, bit could be much more catastrophic if he is indeed handed a suspension.

If Reid does get suspended, he will be ineligible to win the Rising Star award, which he is almost certain to take home.
"He (Wilson) is not well," David King said on Fox Footy at the time.
"That's a tackle we have to take out of the game.
"That's the sling. Head hits the ground.
"It's everything we don't want. I'm sorry."
Reid was starring in the first half for West Coast, collecting 17 disposals and seven clearances.
That was before St Kilda coach Ross Lyon ran Marcus Winghager as a tag in the second half.
After half time, a clearly frustrated Reid was held to just three touches.
Meantime, Wilson was cleared to return to play in the final term, as he helped St Kilda to their fourth win of the season.
All betting for the Rising Star award has been suspended until Reid learns his fate, which will be Sunday, when the AFL release their findings.
