Karachi: Sanghar born Nauman Ali dedicated his national Test debut to his late Nana Abbu (Grandfather) in a video released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Speaking in the video, Nauman said he played cricket throughout to just represent Pakistan in Test cricket. “I played cricket keeping in my mind to play Test cricket for Pakistan. A dream comes true for me and my family,” he said.
“My family supported me throughout and their prayers are the reason behind this achievement. I remember my late Nana Abbu while receiving Test cap, he always wanted me to represent Pakistan in Test cricket,” he added.
Nauman showed confidence to continue his match-winning performance from domestic cricket. “It is an honor for me that I have been awarded for my domestic performance. I will try to keep the spirit high for my team and try to win this match for them,” he concluded.
