Karachi: West Indies star Andre Fletcher grabbed two brilliant catches to help his team Melbourne Stars beat the Hobart Hurricanes in the ongoing season of the Big Bash League (BBL).
The 33-year-old Fletcher mostly keeps the wicket, however, today he stunned the cricketing world by showing his diving skills on the field.
In the 17th over, South Africa’s Colin Ingram played towards deep cover. Fletcher ran in quickly, but outran the ball, only to dive sharply to his right to complete a blinder.

Then in the penultimate over of an exciting match, the ball looked to cross the boundary rope but Fletcher ran in from deep cover, intervened with a two-handed stunner diving to his left this time off well-settled Ben McDermott, who was batting at 91.

The catches totally changed the complexation of the game as Hurricanes were 10 runs short of the Stars’ total.
