Brittany Force runs 343.16 MPH in 1000 feet (552.26 KM/H in 305 metres), obliterating the old record of 341 MPH
In the eighth mile (660 foot/~200 metres) she was running over 300 miles per hour, BTW. I don't specify decimals for the old record because both she and Bob Tascas III had 341.xx record, but Tascas was faster in a non-NHRA event so its a bit murky. Either way, irrelevant now.
