Jasmine Greenwood remembers life in hospital as a six-year-old and the slow and painful recovery that followed. She remembers being slumped to her weak left side in her hospital bed, being told by doctors she was lucky to be alive, being rolled through the wards in a wheelchair, and relearning how to walk, get dressed, do her hair and use utensils. She also remembers taking an MRI scan of her brain to school and showing her classmates two dead spots, revealing the graphic damage of a double stroke.
