What sport is the most fair and competitive to watch as a viewer and least affected by a team having the richest owner?

January 17, 2023 admin 0

With Qatar now rumoured to be buying Liverpool FC and the other super rich owners of the other top clubs in Football. I was wondering if there are any sports where money has either had little effect because of it being small, or the controls and regulations being strong enough to prevent it. I'm aware that American football is a sport that seems to have good controls with the draft and salary structure but the pace of games is too stop start for me and the time of the games being the middle of the night in the UK is not appealing. I did enjoy rugby league when I watched that, and may try that again, and I enjoy bouldering a little but it's hard to find televised and I really fancy a team sport. What options are out there, what do people recommend trying, that is also easy to find on TV in the UK?
