He has great services for Pakistan Hockey. May Almighty Allah\u00a0grant patience to Alam&#8217;s family,&#8221; Islahuddin said.<\/p>\n<p>The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also expressed sadness\u00a0and offered sincerest condolence to Naveed&#8217;s family and friends.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The PCB, on behalf of its fans, cricketers and officials, expresses its sadness over the passing of former hockey olympian Naveed Alam (member 1994 Hockey World Cup winning team) and offers its sincerest condolence to Naveed&#039;s family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Pakistan Cricket (@TheRealPCB) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheRealPCB\/status\/1414871928331022340?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 13, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>On the other hand, Naveed&#8217;s body has been sent to his hometown Sheikhupura where his funeral prayers and burial will take place.
