Queensland coach Paul Green admits the criticism of the Maroons' culture "hurts" amid the fallout from Jai Arrow's bubble breach<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n

Staring down the barrel of a series sweep for the first time since 2000, life was made even harder for the Maroons last week when Arrow was kicked out of camp after inviting a woman into his hotel room, which went against biosecurity protocols.<\/p>\n

The Queensland forward was subsequently fined $35,000 and hit with a two-game suspension.<\/p>\n

While the culture of the Maroons came into question today, Green said he was "confident" his side could band together and not allow any disruptions to affect Wednesday's Origin finale.<\/p>\n

"When people do criticise your culture, yeah, that does hurt," Green told reporters.<\/p>\n

\"Maroons<\/p>\n

"The culture has been set in the last 40 years. It is not in the last two games since I have been head coach.<\/p>\n

"We've got experienced staff. We've got three guys who have played 30 plus games – staff who have been involved for six or seven years, so that hurts.<\/p>\n

"But when you get the results that we have gotten so far you leave yourself open to questions on those areas.<\/p>\n

"The boys have been really good, whether or not it brings them together – I am confident it will, but we will know on Wednesday night."<\/p>\n

It was revealed yesterday by the Sydney Morning Herald that the NRL's Integrity Unit was still investigating whether any other Maroons players were caught up in Arrow's breach.<\/p>\n

But Green said players have been "staunch" in their response by declaring that no one else from the squad was involved.<\/p>\n

\"Maroons\u00a0respond\u00a0to\u00a0Arrow\u00a0suspension\"<\/p>\n

"We spoke to the players. The players have been staunch in their position that there was no one else involved in the breach so I don't have any other information other than that," he said.<\/p>\n

"Jai is extremely apologetic. The whole thing is regrettable.<\/p>\n

"Jai put his hand up, he apologised, he was very remorseful and understands the risk to the game and the NRL biosecurity bubble that it was. It's unfortunate and it is not good enough. But he's paid a heavy price, he's been sanctioned.<\/p>\n

"I think we also have to consider that as a young man who has made a pretty big mistake he also owned it."<\/p>\n
