Novak Djokovic shut down a very blunt question from a journalist after the Serbian world No.1 made it through to the Wimbledon semi-finals<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Djokovic is chasing his 20th grand slam title at the All England Club<\/a>, which would equal the record shared by Roger Federer<\/a> and Rafael Nadal.<\/p>\n

After reaching his 10th Wimbledon<\/a> semi-final by defeating Hungary's Marton Fucsovics 6-3 6-4 6-4, the five-time champion was met with a bizarre question in his press conference.<\/p>\n

\"Djokovic\u00a0into\u00a0semis\u00a0in\u00a0straight\u00a0sets\"<\/p>\n

"What has it been like to be something of the 'bad guy' chasing after Roger and Rafa all these years?" the journalist asked Djokovic.<\/p>\n

"I don't consider myself a bad guy. But I mean, that's your opinion," Djokovic calmly responded to the question with a straight face.<\/p>\n

"I'm not chasing anybody. I'm making my own path and my own journey, my own history. I'm privileged to be part of history of this sport that I love.<\/p>\n

"As I said on the court, I know about a lot of stats. I don't know about all of them, but they do motivate me even more to play my best tennis at the events that count the most in our sport."<\/p>\n

Tennis pundits were not impressed with the "appalling" line of questioning.<\/p>\n

Djokovic will now face Canadian young gun Denis Shapovalov for a place in the final.<\/p>\n

"He's the best player in the world but I think anything is possible," Shapovalov said after his win.<\/p>\n

"When you look at the scoreboard first thing on Friday, it's gonna be 0-0. Nothing else matters. It's a tennis match and it can go either way. I have full belief in my team."<\/p>\n
