The Penrith Panthers<\/a> have received a major boost with James Fisher-Harris agreeing to terms on a contract extension.<\/p>\n

Fisher-Harris, 25, will now remain in Penrith until the end of the 2026 season after committing to a new four-year deal.<\/p>\n

The Panthers prop has played 125 first grade games to date since making his debut for the club back in 2016.<\/p>\n

Fisher-Harris was named in the Dally M Team of the Year last season and has featured at Test level for New Zealand on six occasions.<\/p>\n

"It hasn't fully sunk in yet but I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to sign this deal," Fisher-Harris said in a club statement.<\/p>\n

"This club feels like home. Panthers took me in and I've grown up here. I'm surrounded by familiar faces I've come through the grades with. My family loves it here. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.<\/p>\n

"It's every player's dream to stay at one club for a long time. I'm blessed to have the opportunity to do it at a club like this.<\/p>\n

"Now it's my turn to do my job, put the team first and do everything I can to repay the faith the club has shown in me."<\/p>\n

Panthers coach Ivan Cleary lauded the "relentless work ethic" of Fisher-Harris and is confident the best is yet to come.<\/p>\n

"James has been an outstanding player for Panthers in recent years and his best years are still very much ahead of him," Cleary said.<\/p>\n

"His relentless work ethic is second to none. It's the driving force behind everything he's achieved to this point and it will continue to serve him well moving forward.<\/p>\n

"We're thrilled he's committed his future to the club and we look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together in the years ahead."<\/p>\n
