Roosters players Fletcher Baker and Brad Abbey are currently under 14-day isolation after visiting an exposure site which has since been identified as a COVID hotspot by NSW Health.<\/p>\n
Baker and Abbey notified the Roosters today that they had been deemed close contacts by NSW Health, forcing the Tricolours' training session to subsequently be cancelled<\/p>\n
There was been no breach of the public health order or the NRL's biosecurity protocols by either player.<\/p>\n
Baker was deemed a close contact after purchasing groceries at a Sydney supermarket which has since been named a hot spot.<\/p>\n

He has undergone a COVID-19 test and returned a negative result, and is currently adhering to the mandatory 14-day self-isolation.<\/p>\n
Brad Abbey is currently in isolation and awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test after the apartment building in which he is currently residing recorded a COVID-19 case.<\/p>\n
Pending the return of a negative result for Abbey tomorrow, the Roosters will resume training.<\/p>\n
