The NRL's new rules, namely the six-again ruling, have been blamed for the lopsided scorelines along with discussions involving club and roster management issues<\/a>, but Johns said he had "absolutely no idea" when he asked if he could pinpoint the root of the problem.<\/p>\n "I'm thinking about it, I'm watching. I'm talking to people all the time and there are all different theories [on the league's talent disparity]," he told Wide World of Sports' The Final Whistle.<\/em><\/p>\n "I don't know, but It's a real worry. The difference between the top and bottom, and not even that, but sometimes some games – we're seeing massive blowouts."<\/p>\n Johns suggested the NRL needs to bring people from all walks of the game together to at the end of the season to form a "think tank" where the league's image can be properly discussed.<\/p>\n "I would like to see at the end of the year a think tank, where we get people together from the game," Johns said.<\/p>\n "People within the media, the coaches, some senior players and we talk about the direction of the game – where we want the game, and what do we want the game to look like.<\/p>\n "Because at the moment, I think we're making things up on the go."<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
