France coach Fabien Galthie has handed starting debuts to fullback Melvyn Jaminet and hooker Gaetan Barlot for Wednesday's first Test against the Wallabies in Brisbane.<\/p>\n

France – who finished second in the Six Nations – has sent an inexperienced squad Down Under with halves Antoine Dupont and Romain Ntamack and injured captain Charles Ollivon among the absent stars.<\/p>\n

Jaminet, 22, is yet to even play in the French Top 14 but was prominent in helping Perpignan gain promotion from the second division in the just completed domestic season.<\/p>\n

Galthie has also named five uncapped players on his bench in forwards Anthony Etrillard, Quentin Walcker, Sipili Falatea and Florent Vanverberghe and veteran halfback Teddy Iribaren.<\/p>\n

Winger Damian Penaud, five-eighth Louis Carbonel, lock Romain Taofifenua and props Demba Bamba and Jean-Baptiste Gros are among the more familiar names in the lineup.<\/p>\n

"The players have everything to gain," Galthie said.<\/p>\n

Young flanker Anthony Jelonch will captain France.<\/p>\n

"Everyone's starting to get a bit of pressure, but that's a positive thing," Jelonch said.<\/p>\n

"I think that with this group, we can achieve something beautiful…<\/p>\n

"I had never been captain of a professional team. It is a great pride. I am very happy to have these responsibilities. I am someone who does not speak a lot but I have the impression that I am being listened to so I am happy to have these responsibilities…<\/p>\n

"I think these are all the players in top form at the moment in the Top 14, they are young people. Physically, we'll all be ready… I think anything is possible. We all have to deliver great performances and then we'll see the results. If the Australians are stronger than us on this tour, so much the better for them but we will do everything to compete with them and have a big tour."<\/p>\n

The Wallabies will name their team on Monday.<\/p>\n
