Queensland's Cameron Munster<\/a> has escaped a charge from the match review committee, after being placed on report during last night's State of Origin match at Suncorp Stadium.<\/p>\n

Munster appeared to knee James Tedesco<\/a> as the Blues skipper cleaned up a grubber kick in the second half.<\/p>\n

Any charge would have come with a suspension had Munster been found guilty, having already been fined twice this season for grade one dangerous contact.<\/p>\n

Munster was fined for kicking Blues back-rower Liam Martin<\/a> during the opening Origin match earlier this month, and days later was also fined for kicking Warriors fullback Roger Tuivasa-Sheck in a club match.<\/a><\/p>\n

The incident with Tuivasa-Sheck drew the ire of Munster's club coach, Craig Bellamy.<\/p>\n

"He has to rein it in a lot," Bellamy said. "You just can't do that. He just needs to cut that out of his game."<\/p>\n

Munster will now be free to line up for Melbourne in Thursday's match against the Roosters<\/a> in Newcastle.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Queensland's Ali Brigginshaw is facing a one-match ban for after being charged with contrary conduct from Friday night's women's State of Origin match<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Brigginshaw was charged after a hair-pulling incident in the 35th minute involving Kennedy Cherrington.<\/p>\n

If she takes the early guilty plea she'll miss the opening round of the NRLW season, ending her perfect record in that competition.<\/p>\n

Brigginshaw has played 12 matches for Brisbane across the three seasons of the NRLW, the only player who hasn't missed a game.<\/p>\n

She's unlikely to fight the charge, having conceded on ABC Radio that she's guilty.<\/p>\n

"Yep, I did it," Brigginshaw said.<\/p>\n

"Me and Kennedy have a bit of a rivalry, so she drove the shoulder up through my jaw and I retaliated.<\/p>\n

"Hey, that's Origin footy."<\/p>\n
