{"id":89605,"date":"2021-06-23T03:53:02","date_gmt":"2021-06-23T03:53:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=89605"},"modified":"2021-06-23T05:56:57","modified_gmt":"2021-06-23T05:56:57","slug":"afl-crowds-get-green-light-from-government","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=89605","title":{"rendered":"AFL crowds get green light from government"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The AFL will welcome back crowds this weekend after the Victorian government announced restrictions would ease.<\/p>\n<p>For this weekend&#x27;s venues, the MCG and Marvel Stadium, crowds will be capped at 25,000 spectators.<\/p>\n<p>Round 15 will see <a href=\"https:\/\/wwos.nine.com.au\/afl\/live-scores\/richmond-v-st-kilda-afl-home-and-away\/113761508\" title=\"Richmond and St Kila\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Richmond and St Kila<\/a> clash at the MCG on Friday night, with <a href=\"https:\/\/wwos.nine.com.au\/afl\/live-scores\/essendon-v-melbourne-afl-home-and-away\/113761504\" title=\"Essendon and Melbourne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Essendon and Melbourne<\/a> to play on Saturday followed by <a href=\"https:\/\/wwos.nine.com.au\/afl\/live-scores\/gws-giants-v-hawthorn-afl-home-and-away\/113761505\" title=\"GWS and Hawthorn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">GWS and Hawthorn<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Marvel Stadium will host two games, with <a href=\"https:\/\/wwos.nine.com.au\/afl\/live-scores\/collingwood-v-fremantle-afl-home-and-away\/113761503\" title=\"Collingwood and Fremantle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Collingwood and Fremantle<\/a> going head-to-head on Saturday before<a href=\"https:\/\/wwos.nine.com.au\/afl\/live-scores\/carlton-v-adelaide-crows-afl-home-and-away\/113761502\" title=\" Carlton and Adelaide\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"> Carlton and Adelaide<\/a> meet on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>After this week&#x27;s fixtures, crowds in Round 16 at the MCG and Marvel Stadium will increase to 85 per cent capacity.<\/p>\n<p><img data-id=\"5ab3133b-c161-4528-a189-9a79fa5010e5\" src=\"https:\/\/prod.static9.net.au\/fs\/5ab3133b-c161-4528-a189-9a79fa5010e5\" alt=\"Jack Riewoldt of the Tigers high fives fans after winning the round seven AFL match between the Richmond Tigers and the Western Bulldogs at Melbourne Cricket Ground on April 30, 2021 in Melbourne, Australia.
