While Gallen has a rematch clause, which he can exercise for a later date after Huni competes at the Tokyo Olympics, he revealed today he likely won't go down that route.<\/p>\n
The former Cronulla Sharks captain was asked about a rematch with Huni on 2GB's Wide World of Sports Radio,<\/em> to which he replied "probably not".<\/p>\n "I didn't get to fight the way that I wanted to fight. I didn't fight the way I trained or sparred," he said.<\/p>\n "He's a great fighter, I can't take anything away from him. I don't want to say I wasn't at my best; he was too good, that's the way it was."<\/p>\n Since the defeat to Huni, the 39-year-old has been urged by a number of pundits to retire from boxing<\/a>, including from the likes of Australian boxing great Jeff Fenech.<\/p>\n However, Gallen said retirement may be a hard path to go down after being inundated with fight offers after last week's TKO defeat.<\/p>\n "We will weigh up what options [are available]," he said.<\/p>\n "The last week there's been options coming from everywhere, it's been unbelievable.<\/p>\n "Some of the things that have been spoken about, things that have been put to me have been unbelievable. Probably things I don't want to go that far with.<\/p>\n "It's amazing, I lost the fight.
