The Australian has reported that Wests Tigers are interested in signing Pangai.<\/p>\n
It's clear that the 25-year-old's days at Brisbane are numbered despite the fact that he's contracted to the Broncos until the end of next year.<\/p>\n

"Right now I'm on contract for this year and next year, but they got me in on my day off and told me I'm free to look elsewhere," Pangai told Thurston.<\/p>\n
"Players have to be held accountable for the results that we've been tossing up, so if that's me I have to look elsewhere.<\/p>\n
"I just have to take it day by day and week by week and see where my future is.<\/p>\n
"I don't know (where my future is). I haven't thought about that. I thought I was on contract but contracts don't mean much these days. I've got to cop it on the chin and get my manager to do his job."<\/p>\n
Walters said the Broncos' decision to let Pangai explore was one of several crucial roster-management calls.<\/p>\n
"We're a club that needs to really restructure our roster," Walters said on Nine's coverage.<\/p>\n
"It's in poor condition, our salary cap's not in a great space either. We have to move and do some things now. We've got some plans over the next couple of weeks that we will implement to fix what is a pretty big mess."<\/p>\n
