Eels cult hero Maika Sivo faces at least one week on the sidelines after he was charged by the NRL's match review committee for the high shot that got him sin binned in yesterday's win over the Tigers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sivo was sent from the field for a 10-minute spell in the 54th minute of the game after hitting Tigers star Adam Doueihi high.<\/p>\n

The tackle was assessed as a grade two careless high tackle, equating to a one-match suspension if the star winger takes an early guilty plea. He will risk an extra game on the sidelines if he chooses to fight the charge at the judiciary and the challenge fails.<\/p>\n

The Eels face the Bulldogs in a Sunday afternoon clash in Round 15 and then the Panthers in a top four blockbuster that follows the bye round due to the standalone Sunday Origin clash on June 27.<\/p>\n

Sivo's Eels teammate Isaiah Papali'i also copped a charge out of yesterday's game for an incident involving Tigers player Luciano Leilua but he'll escape with a fine. Tigers player Luke Brooks and Tom Amone for a dangerous throw and contrary conduct respectively.<\/p>\n

Storm star Cameron Munster copped a second fine in a week for similar incidents after he kicked out at Roger Tuivasa-Sheck<\/a> in the Storm's big win over the Warriors. Munster had been forced to apologise last Wednesday night after kicking out at NSW back-rower Liam Martin<\/a> in Queensland's heavy Game One loss<\/a>.<\/p>\n
