Eels superstar Mitchell Moses went head-to-head with his captain Clint Gutherson as the pair became embroiled in a fiery on-field clash in Parramatta's 42-10 win over the Tigers.<\/a><\/p>\n

With the result all but over, Moses and Gutherson were caught exchanging some strong words after the Eels had won a penalty while leading 32-6.<\/p>\n

Gutherson stood with the ball in-hand near referee Grant Atkins as the Tigers weighed up taking a captain's challenge.<\/p>\n

That saw Moses sprint up to his skipper, barking at him to play the quick tap and shift the ball across the field.<\/p>\n

It came to a head when neither man backed down.<\/p>\n

"Gutho, quick, Gutho, f— off" Moses said as he pointed to the area he wanted to attack instead of taking the kick for two-points.<\/p>\n

Gutherson shielded the ball away from Moses, keeping it behind his back as he tried to quell his halfback by pushing him gently away.<\/p>\n

The decision eventually went to a review for the Tigers which was unsuccessful.<\/p>\n

"I like that from Mitchell Moses he's the halfback of the team," former Sharks coach Shane Flanagan said in commentary for Fox Sports.<\/p>\n

"They're in a good ball zone and he wants to take control. I love that."<\/p>\n
