New Zealand Warriors winger Ken Maumalo was reduced to tears in his final game after spending seven seasons with the club.<\/p>\n

Maumalo will officially join the Wests Tigers next week after being granted an early release to link up with the club on a deal that will see him remain in Concord until the end of the 2023 season.<\/p>\n

While the Warriors were on the wrong end of a 42-16 thrashing at the hands of the Melbourne Storm<\/a>, Maumalo went out with a bang by producing a hat-trick.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old finishes his career at the Warriors with 44 tries from 106 games since making his NRL debut with the club in 2015.<\/p>\n

Cameras after the game captured the moment the 26-year-old was reduced to tears as teammates rushed to his support.<\/p>\n

"He is upset and you can understand that," Panthers great Greg Alexander said on Fox League.<\/p>\n

"That is a pretty emotional moment for Ken."<\/p>\n

"No doubt not an easy time negotiating his departure from the Warriors to join the Wests Tigers.<\/p>\n
