Our job is to pick 23 players on a given day to be competitive.<\/p>\n "We certainly won't be scarred from what's happened but we've got to learn from it."<\/p>\n With no representation in the trans-Tasman final, the full Wallabies squad will assemble on the Gold Coast on Tuesday to prepare for the first Test in Sydney on July 7.<\/p>\n Rennie said the next fortnight will involve 12 hour, 6am-6pm work days – a demanding schedule welcomed by Test captain Michael Hooper.<\/p>\n "How you train is how you play, you can't just expect it to happen on Saturday," Hooper said on Stan Sport.<\/p>\n "It's all about leaving a mark. What mark do you want to leave in the Wallaby jersey going forward? (Culture has) got to be a focus for us and I know it's something we haven't been amazing at, at times and it's something that we really want to capture going forward."<\/p>\n Hooper missed the Waratahs 0-13 Annus horribilis while playing in Japan for Toyota Verblitz.<\/p>\n But instead of simply forgetting about their trans-Tasman batterings, Hooper urged his teammates to look in the mirror.<\/p>\n "I think we'd be foolish to forget about some of the learnings that we've had," Hooper said.<\/p>\n "We're going to play a lot of the Kiwi guys down the track so if we walk away from this trans-Tasman series learning nothing then it'll be a mistake for us.
