Fremantle captain Nat Fyfe is in line to make an earlier-than-expected return from a serious injury sustained last weekend.<\/p>\n
Fyfe dislocated his shoulder in the fourth quarter against the Western Bulldogs, raising fears his season could be over prematurely.<\/p>\n
But the Dockers anticipate he will be able to return in a few weeks to play in Round 15 against Collingwood.<\/p>\n
"We feel like he'll be able to play out the year," Dockers coach Justin Longmuir said on Friday.<\/p>\n

"He's got to get some strength back in his shoulder first so we don't put it at further risk of damage, but we're pretty confident he can play out the rest of the year.<\/p>\n
"We're hoping 'Fyfey' will be right for the Collingwood game. Fingers crossed for that. He will have to improve a fair bit."<\/p>\n
If Fyfe came back he would only miss the Gold Coast Suns clash this weekend, with the Dockers set for a bye the following round before playing the Magpies.<\/p>\n
Fyfe was lucky not to need surgery after his shoulder popped out but has had previous shoulder injuries during his AFL career.<\/p>\n
David Mundy will captain the Dockers in Fyfe's absence.<\/p>\n
