Dylan Alcott<\/a> has continued his reign of dominance in the men's quad wheelchair singles circuit, taking out his third consecutive Roland-Garros<\/a> title.<\/p>\n

The Australian star claimed his 13th career Grand Slam title with a 6-4 6-2 win over 21-year-old Dutchman Sam Schroder.<\/p>\n

While he claimed a straight-sets win, Alcott certainly did not have it all his own way during the match, having to claw back from a 1-3 deficit in the opening set.<\/p>\n

Alcott's win over Schroder came in a repeat of this year's Australian Open final<\/a>, where he easily dispatched the Dutchman in a 6-1 6-0 win.<\/p>\n

Following his win, Alcott congratulated Schroder for his performance, backing the youngster to eventually claim his own Grand Slam titles.<\/p>\n

"Mate, you played really well today," he said.<\/p>\n

"We went down in the doubles, but we played in the Australian Open final as well and it was a different match. <\/p>\n

"You came out today and played so well, brother, and I'm sure you'll be winning a few of these big ones in no time, so congrats."<\/p>\n

Alcott also thanked the tournament organisers, admitting that he didn't know how much longer he had left at the top of the game.<\/p>\n

"To Roland-Garros, thanks for supporting us, thanks for having court tennis here," he said.<\/p>\n

"I don't know how many more I've got left in me, so every time I come on this court I feel really blessed to be here."<\/p>\n
