{"id":78412,"date":"2021-05-31T02:58:16","date_gmt":"2021-05-31T02:58:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=78412"},"modified":"2021-05-31T03:58:23","modified_gmt":"2021-05-31T03:58:23","slug":"walker-banned-fined-for-pizza-shop-assault","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportinfo.pro\/?p=78412","title":{"rendered":"Walker banned, fined for pizza shop assault"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/wwos.nine.com.au\/nrl\" title=\"NRL\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NRL<\/a> has fined Manly centre <a href=\"https:\/\/wwos.nine.com.au\/nrl\/dylan-walker\" title=\"Dylan Walker\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dylan Walker<\/a> $10,000 and banned the star for one-game after assaulting a pizza shop worker last year.<\/p>\n<p>Walker pleaded guilty to the charge in court earlier this month but escaped conviction and was handed an 18-month good behaviour bond.<\/p>\n<p>Walker was originally facing two counts of common assault, but the second charge was withdrawn by police.<\/p>\n<p>The agreed facts presented to the court stated that Walker pushed pizza worker Stephen Melani in the chest when intoxicated. Walker&#x27;s reaction came after Melani asked the NRL player to move away from his sister after Walker tried to enter her car, asking for a lift.
