An emotional Nicho Hynes has revealed the hidden meaning behind his try celebration in the Storm's 40-12 thumping of the Broncos. <\/p>\n
Hynes continued his red-hot month of footy, upping his stock on the NRL market, as he bagged a try, two assists and run for 177 metres at Suncorp Stadium.<\/p>\n
His 52nd-minute four-pointer was just reward for his hard yards as he all but put the match out of reach for the Broncos.<\/p>\n
As he crossed over under the sticks, cameras captured the fullback kissing his wrist and pointing to the sky before he was swarmed by his teammates.<\/p>\n

The moment slipped by amid the Storm's 40-point frenzy, but after the match, the boom playmaker took a moment to share the message behind his solemn celebration. <\/p>\n
Speaking to Nine's Thursday Night Footy coverage, Hynes revealed he had lost someone close to him this week, and wanted to honour his memory. <\/p>\n
"I'll just give a shout out to all the boys and family back home. We lost a brother a couple of days ago," Hynes told Johnathan Thurston on Nine.<\/p>\n
"That's who I had on my wrist and I kissed the sky tonight. So, I'm really thinking of you guys. Lots of love back home."<\/p>\n

Hynes is currently in contract talks with both Brisbane and Melbourne, and indicated that he was waiting on other potential suitors before decicding his future.<\/p>\n
"I'm just waiting for a few offers to come on the table so I can make my decision," Hynes said last week.<\/p>\n
"I just want to do my job for the Storm and focus on putting my best foot forward for this team. I've been very vocal in saying that I'd love to stay at this club but unfortunately, that might not be happening because I won't be able to start each and every week.<\/p>\n
"I'm open to anything at the moment but right now, I just really want to play some good footy and focus on the Storm."<\/p>\n
