<\/strong>MORE: <\/strong>Buckley refuses to get involved in Magpies' boardroom politics<\/a><\/p>\n Collingwood's members signed a petition prior to the Magpies one-point loss to Port Adelaide in Round 10 in a bid to force an EGM and a leadership spill, with ex-Nine executive Jeff Browne understood to be making a bid to be the club's next president. <\/p>\n The under-fire Korda wrote that the political infighting could threaten the "essence of the Collingwood culture", pleading with the members remain patient despite the club's horror start to the 2021 season.<\/p>\n "I admire the white-hot passion among Magpie fans," Korda's letter in the Herald Sun read, in part.<\/p>\n "I embrace their right to forcefully debate team selection, coaching performances, recruiting decisions and, yes, Board matters.<\/p>\n "But members should be wary of the politics associated with attempted coups.<\/p>\n "Football banter will be replaced by damaging infighting that will threaten the essence of the Collingwood culture \u2013 Side by Side. When that withers, the club withers too.<\/p>\n "Coups are not good for football clubs \u2013 ask Eddie.
