Adelaide<\/a> has ended Melbourne's undefeated start to the season after Taylor Walker<\/a> drilled a game-winning goal inside the final minute of a thrilling contest.<\/p>\n

After trailing by 16 points midway through the final quarter, Walker's last-minute goal put the Crows ahead for good as Matthew Nicks' side sealed a 15. 6. (96) to 14. 11. (95) win<\/a> at the Adelaide Oval.<\/p>\n

Despite being Adelaide's all-time leading goalkicker, Walker admitted that he was nervous before he put his side ahead in the final minute.<\/p>\n

"I was feeling the pressure, but (a teammate) came up to me and said, 'Trust the process', so I went back to thinking I was in Broken Hill doing what I do and it was nice to slot it straight through," he told Fox Footy after the win.<\/p>\n

"We just wanted to keep playing four quarters. We haven't done that the last three or four weeks, so to come out after half-time and play like that will make everyone proud here. <\/p>\n

"(The win) will just show that we're on the right track and give us belief."<\/p>\n

Adelaide's courageous comeback was praised by Hawthorn great Jason Dunstall, who credited the Crows' style of play once they fell behind in the final quarter.<\/p>\n

"This is a triumph of endeavour," he told Fox Footy.<\/p>\n

"This is a young team that gave it their all. They played on, they were daring, they used the corridor, they took on the competition leaders and they weren't afraid to make mistakes. When they made made mistakes, they buttered up and went again."<\/p>\n

Adelaide's win came despite a herculean performance from Melbourne star Clayton Oliver<\/a>, who finished with 38 disposals, with 27 of them contested, while also kicking three goals.<\/p>\n

The Crows' efforts were led by the midfield trio of Paul Seedsman, Rory Laird and Ben Keays, who picked up 34 disposals apiece, while Walker was the leading goalkicker with three majors.<\/p>\n

After having their nine-match winning streak ended, the Demons will face the Western Bulldogs in a blockbuster match-up next week, while Adelaide will travel to Melbourne to face Richmond at the MCG.<\/p>\n
