Hawthorn forward Chad Wingard<\/a> has kicked one of the goals of the year, all while clashing with an unfortunate cameraman against North Melbourne. <\/p>\n

The incident occurred early in the first quarter of the Hawks' match in Tasmania, when Wingard drilled a goal from tight in the left forward pocket amid heavy pressure from Kangaroos ruckman Tom Campbell.<\/p>\n

After releasing his kick, Wingard casually jogged towards the crowd while keeping his eye on the ball, inadvertently taking out the cameraman stationed in the Hawks' left forward pocket.<\/p>\n

The Hawks star shook his head after the clash, laughing as he shared a handshake with the unfortunate photographer.<\/p>\n

"Not a great investment if you're taking out the cameraman. Traditionally, they don't look after you with the shot, but he would have great vision of this," Kangaroos great David King said on commentary for Fox Footy.<\/p>\n

"I mean, that was an unbelievable finish. Going at pace, he assesses quickly that it's Campbell chasing him, the ruckman, (who is) probably not going to make the ground, so he has a quick look in and says nothing obvious, nothing clear, coach is not going to drag me if I have a shot here and miss, I'll have a go."<\/p>\n

"He was getting ready to celebrate with the crowd and the cameraman got in the way," Bulldogs legend Brad Johnson added.<\/p>\n

The first-quarter goal was one of two majors for Wingard, who was at his dangerous best against the winless Kangaroos.<\/p>\n
