Geelong defender Zach Tuohy<\/a> has stunned footy fans by unleashing a monster kick-in which travelled past the centre of the ground against St Kilda.<\/p>\n

Tuohy's kick came early on in the first quarter after a St Kilda behind, when he perfectly executed a torpedo barrel kick which threatened to hit the roof inside Marvel Stadium.<\/p>\n

The ball floated over the centre square before dribbling further towards the Cats' forward 50 arc, before youngster Quinton Narkle had a chance to complete a beautiful coast-to-coast play, but missed the running shot on goal.<\/p>\n

The Irishman's incredible kick was reminiscent of teammate Mitch Duncan's torpedo<\/a> goal from earlier in the month, and left Seven commentators James Brayshaw and Brian Taylor stunned.<\/p>\n

\"Zach<\/p>\n

"A big, big barrel right into the centre of the stadium!" Brayshaw yelled.<\/p>\n

"How long was it, JB?" Taylor said in response. <\/p>\n

"Now, there's the square, he's come about three, four, five metres out of the square. There's the launch, look at that! JB, it's gone past the centre circle!" <\/p>\n

"The connection was fantastic. Look at that, it's almost hit the roof!"<\/p>\n

The close proximity of the ball to the retractable Marvel Stadium roof caused Brayshaw to draw comparisons to Aussie cricket star Aaron Finch's BBL exploits.<\/p>\n

\"Zach<\/p>\n

"I haven't seen a ball go that close to the roof since Aaron Finch, playing for the Renegades, hit one across beams. It was poor old Dougy Bollinger and he just disappeared," he said.<\/p>\n

"He'll be watching, Finchy, he's a big Cats fan. He still believes that's the farthest a cricket ball has ever been hit. It ended up down on the ground but it was a dead ball, they had to change the rule."<\/p>\n

Hawthorn great Luke Hodge also praised the kick and its ability to break through St Kilda's defensive zone on Geelong's kick-in.<\/p>\n

"I'm surprised why teams don't do it more often, especially with the zone starting 30m further back," Hodge said.<\/p>\n

"You can get a good run and kick at it."<\/p>\n
