The Melbourne Storm<\/a> will be without star five-eighth Cameron Munster and gun hooker Harry Grant<\/a> for the next fortnight after the pair succumbed to injury.<\/p>\n

Munster has suffered a foot sprain and Grant has torn a hamstring, ruling them out of the Storm's next two games against the St George Illawarra Dragons and Canberra Raiders.<\/p>\n

Munster suffered his injury during Melbourne's 50-0 win over the South Sydney Rabbitohs last Thursday, while Grant strained his hamstring during yesterday's training session.<\/p>\n

They are both expected to be fit for the opening game of the State of Origin series on June 9.<\/p>\n

Storm general manager of football Frank Ponissi said the club was hopeful of having both players available for the Round 12 Indigenous Round match against the Brisbane Broncos.<\/p>\n

"That would be the best-case scenario for both Cameron and Harry," Ponissi said.<\/p>\n

"If that doesn't happen we expect they would both be okay for the opening State of Origin match in Melbourne."<\/p>\n

Melbourne will also be without prolific fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen (shoulder), dangerous hooker Brandon Smith (suspension) and Queensland Maroons centre Brenko Lee (calf) for this week's Magic Round clash.<\/p>\n
