Jack de Belin<\/a> remains subject to the NRL's no-fault stand down policy, despite the St George Illawarra<\/a> forward being cleared of one count of sexually assaulting a woman.<\/a><\/p>\n

The jury in de Belin's trial was unable to reach a verdict on five other charges, and has been discharged after deliberating for more than five days.<\/p>\n

The former Origin forward will now need to wait for the Department of Public Prosecutions to decide whether or not to proceed with a third trial.<\/p>\n

Nine's court reporter Kelly Fedor says the DPP is likely to confirm later this month whether or not it will pursue a third trial.<\/p>\n

As de Belin is yet to be cleared of the remaining five charges, he's still stood down under the NRL's policy.<\/p>\n

"The Jack de Belin court matter did not reach a verdict on five of the six charges as a result of a hung jury in Sydney District Court on Monday," the club said in a statement.<\/p>\n

"De Belin was however found not guilty of a sixth charge.<\/p>\n

"De Belin remains subject to the NRL's no-fault stand down policy.<\/p>\n

\"Jack<\/p>\n

"The next steps concerning all facets of matter are yet to be established.<\/p>\n

"The Dragons will continue to provide the necessary welfare support to de Belin and his family.<\/p>\n

"As this remains a legal matter, the club will make no further comment at this time."<\/p>\n

De Belin hasn't played in the NRL since he was charged late in 2018.<\/p>\n
