David Pocock is the only Australian to feature in World Rugby's team of the decade, as the All Blacks dominated the star-studded lineup at the 2020 World Rugby Awards.<\/p>\n
The team, decided by a four-man panel including Clive Woodward and Brian O'Driscoll was jam-packed full of Kiwi greats, and contained no French or English players.<\/p>\n
Pocock, who retired after last year's World Cup, bringing to close an international career spanning 11-years and 78 Tests, was the sole Aussie representation amid the coveted cohort.<\/p>\n
He featured in three Rugby World Cups, and played 112 games of Super Rugby across his time at the Brumbies and Western Force<\/p>\n

Kiwi double World Cup winner Richie McCaw claimed the top gong for player of the decade.<\/p>\n
The flanker who retired in 2015 led New Zealand to victory in the 2011 and 2015 World Cups. He had previously won three player-of-the-year awards, the last of those coming in 2010.<\/p>\n
